25 Main Street Café is designed with elements of post-Colonial Architecture with a large hall, stone floors with high ceilings and sufficient ambient light overlooking a quaint garden. We have combined the old-world charm with offerings from the modern. With Live Plants everywhere, upcycled wood furniture, cane lamps, classic paintings from famous artists this place exudes a club like environment.

Gourmet Coffee, Tea and Cold Concoctions

Fresh Ground and Brewed Coffee aroma fills up our space as we are always brewing. Beans and Tea leaves comes from some of the choicest estates of India.

Continental, Asian and Fusion Dishes

Besides our staple Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian dishes, our chefs keep experimenting with recipes and keep serving up new dishes on a regular basis. All our food items are made from branded raw materials and acquired fresh. No frozen to fryer dishes are served.

Location

The Café is nestled in the quiet neighbourhood of Salt Lake. Located less than a km from EM Bypass and Ultadanga Rail Station. Almost next to the PNB Island, in Salt Lake there is a nonstop availability of public transport. It is a little more than a km from City Center 1 Metro Station.

Private Event Space

We have a space to hold private parties like birthdays, anniversaries, get-togethers with specially curated menus. All equipment required to hold your own gigs Music, Magic Shows, Stand-up Comedies etc can be easily arranged.

Parking

We are located on a quiet side street oof the main road, which provides us with ample free parking space.

Outdoor Garden

A small outdoor garden shaded with grown trees and decorated with seasonal flowering plants provides a very pleasant seating area.

The Café comes to live on Friday and Saturday evenings with Live Music, mostly with local talents who bring in slow Hindi, Bengali and English melodies that reverberates across our floor.

The first thing you will notice as soon as you enter the cafe is how simplestic but beautifully designed, it got natural light coming through the big window. Enough room to move around, even if you got couple of very energetic toddlers. They have few board games option for kids and books for both adults and kids. Now coming to the main topic food! It's just great. We had group of 7 adults and two kids , everyone ordered different things and all were happy. The Darjeeling tea was very nice, along with the other mocktails we ordered The cheese used in pasta, certainly better than most of the places I have visited.

One of the newest additions to the ever burgeoning cafe scene in Salt Lake City. The place is pretty rustic and has a relaxing vibe to it. The interiors are an eclectic mix of modern and old. The staff is courteous and friendly. The cafe owner Mr. Pinaki is an absolute gem. Makes you feel at ease and chats up a storm like the old school bong adda. The food is tasty to boot as well. A well deserved addition to the culinary world of Bidhannagar.

A very well crafted and aesthetic cafe located in Salt Lake. Be it a cosy Sunday date, a solo hideout or a goofy time with friends, this new place in town should be your next destination. The owner, Mr. Pinaki is a wonderful man and will inspire you with minute details and stories about his passion project named the 25 Main Street Cafe. I loved the place and the ambience , also the hospitality. Much recommended.

It is one of the best Cafés in the Salt Lake area. The aesthetic ambiance and cordial staff make it more joyful to spend time here. An appealing little cafe in Salt Lake with adorable aesthetics.The fish in sweet chilli sauce was heavenly. The non veg aglio olio penne pasta was too good and my personal favourite, the pong non veg noodles was okayish. 🍽️The pizza was not up to the mark and the crust was burnt. Had high hopes from the pizza (not recommended).Great menu selection.👌The attendants are very friendly and welcoming.They also have live performances on special occasions.Will definitely visit again 👌

This is my first visit to this cafe with my family. Happened to meet the owner Mr. Deb. The place was very neat with warm hospitality. The menu was well curated. Mr. Deb helped us in choosing our lunch. The food was amazing with superior taste. The quantity was sufficient and the cravings for other items became more and more, resulting in taking takeaways for the dinner. Thank You Team 25Main Street Cafe for making my day. Keep it up. What I admired the most that they never said a "No" when I asked them to specially curate an item as per my taste. Super ..keep it up!

It is located in AA28. Salt Lake Sector 1. Near PNB Island.

PNB Island is the first traffic Island as you enter Salt Lake from Ultadanga side.

Take a left turn from the Island if you coming from Ultadanga side. We are at the first corner on the left. There is ample street parking.

If you are coming by Public transport, then get down at PNB Island and we are less than a minute walk towards Kestopur Canal.

We served both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Food. Jain foods can also be prepared on request.

Our cuisine is mostly Continental, Chinese, and Fusion. We have a small inhouse bakery where bake muffins, cookies and brownies.

We do not serve any ready-to-cook frozen food items. All our food is cooked fresh.

The café has a post-colonial look with high ceilings, real stone chequered floors and walls in soothing colours. We have art prints of world-famous paintings collected from museums across the world adorning our walls. Most of the furniture are from repurposed wood as we believe in recycling as much as possible.
